Small bowls can get boring quite fast but I am reluctant to stop turning them. So with a little imagination, two ordinary small bowls turn into one vessel. From bottom to top: ziricote, walnut blank, ziricote, zebrawood and ziricote accent ring, another ring of ziricote, the top walnut blank, a trim ring consisting of maple and walnut veneer stacked and segmented, and finally ziricote sapwood. I think it turned out amazing as I was quite reluctant half way through, first time trying veneer in a bowl as well and it payed off. Please watch part 2 for the final turning and finshing!
